module. Key changes are:
The DS ports have been rotated 180° to allow easier connection access.
The port status LED’s have been moved and grouped adjacent to the ports.
The DTE serial port on the rear of the
module has been changed to a 9-pin
D-type socket.
The DS V2 uses an earthed 3-pin 60W external power supply unit.

configured for None, On (use the system locale default), Line Reversal A or

configured for 101V, 81V and 51V Stepped operation.
The ports do not include a ringing
capacitor. Therefore for phones where this
is a requirement, connection should be via a Master socket containing ringing
capacitors.

auto-sensing 3 additional X.21/
V.35 ports socket and using an appropriate connector cable). Line speeds up to
and including 2Mbps are supporting on each interface, the carrier providing the
line dictates the actual operating speed. The IP400 Office WAN3 10/100 may be
connected to the IP406 and IP412 platforms to provide additional WAN ports.
Each platform, except Small Office Edition, can support up to two WAN3 10/100
modules.
The IP400 Office WAN3 connects to the base unit through the Local Area Network
via a 10/100Mbps connection and does not use an expansion port on the control
unit so it does not impact on the maximum number of external expansion modules
