How to set up an Analog Extension to Answer and Incoming Call on Avaya IP Office Partner Version
We have recently had many issues when customers want to set up an analog extension on an Avaya IP Office Partner Version. Typically when setting up an analog extension, you can choose between using a Phone 2, Phone 8 or a Combo Card ATM. All three of these cards have analog extension ports on them. However, when an analog device is connected to one of these three cards, it cannot answer any incoming calls, nor can the device pick up a specific CO Line for outgoing calls.
Setting up Mobile Twinning on Avaya IP Office
Mobile Twinning is a newer feature that is becoming very popular with many business telephone system users. Mobile Twinning is a feature that is available on Avaya IP Office through a license called Mobile Worker. This feature first requires that the phone system has either SIP Trunks or a PRI Circuit installed. A twinned call will use 2 channels of SIP Trunks or off of the PRI in order to work.
When using Mobile Twinning, if an inbound call rings to your extension, it will also ring an external number, typically a cell phone number. You may answer the call from either device. If the call is answered on your cell phone, you may have the ability to access other system features, depending on which type of Avaya IPO Phone System you have. One main feature is that you have the ability to transfer the call back to the phone system to another extension if needed.
CCR - Customer Call Reporter Software
Avaya IP Office Phone System has many optional features that can greatly enhance a company’s efficiency.
One additional feature is Customer Call Reporting Software. Avaya CCR is ACD Reporting Software that can be activated when using Avaya IP Office Advanced Edition. Advanced Edition will allow a customer to set up ACD Groups for up to 30 Supervisors and up to 150 Agents.
